Introductory Lesson in the Stearman

Heres your opportunity to fly a real live time machine... our 1941 Stearman PT-17, but make no mistake about it... this aint no ride, you'll be doing some of the flying! The lesson includes everything you ever wanted to know about what it was like to be a USN Flight Student during WWII. Back then, they called this flight "basic orientation", and its right out of the 1940 USN Flight Training Manual. We'll spend about an hour on the ground covering the basics, and fly for about half an hour after that,  Don't worry, 'Ol Rowdy has done this a few thousand times, and I've been around the patch a time or two myself. Whats even better is that no bodys going make you do pushups! This is all about fun and makes a terrific gift for any aviation lover. Just call me if there are any questions. Certain physical requirements are needed, mostly dealing with the ability to get into and out of the cockpit.

Take an introductory lesson in the Cub

Treat your budding pilot or aviation enthusiast (it might be you!) to an introductory lesson in this iconic plane. Total time is about an hour (sometimes longer, I'm chatty), some of which we spend on the ground doing a pre-flight check and going over some of the finer points of flight. Passengers must be able to step up into—and out of—a cramped cabin, and can’t exceed 200 lbs. Its old timey fun in a timeless classic
